Jo Edwards, 1926 - 2006
Jo Edwards, 79, of Broken Bow, passed away May 27, 2006 at her home. She was born October 10, 1926 at Little Rock, AR the daughter of Joe and Maudie Brooks.
Jo enjoyed canning and spending time with her grandchildren. She was affiliated with the Pentecostal Faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Deloy Edwards; and son, Johnny Rayburn.
Jo leaves to cherish her memory sons, James Cole Edwards and Kenny Rayburn, both of TX; daughters, Brenda Crabtree, KY, Becky Rayburn and Jane Rayburn, both of Kilgore, TX; brother, R.J. Brooks, Ft. Towson; grandchildren, Elizabeth Wyatt, Michael Brooks, Dorothy Cherry, Charles Cherry, Amy Cherry, and Chris Crabtree; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 2, 2006, at Millerton Assembly of God, Millerton. Burial will follow at Ft. Towson Cemetery, Ft. Towson, OK. Bro. Brent Coffey will officiate.

Jeffrey Bowie McCain, 1964 - 2006
Jeffrey Bowie McCain, 41, of Broken Bow, passed away May 30, 2006 at his home. He was born June 2, 1964 at DeQueen, AR, the son of Sidney and Margaret Florence (Campbell) McCain.
Jeff was baptized on June 2, 1975. He was a lifetime resident of Broken Bow. He liked to work on cars, camping, and traveling with his family. He enjoyed watching Pastor Arnold Murray on television. Jeff loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Alice Foster Campbell; paternal grandparents, Bowie and Alice Thomas McCain; one uncle, Harold Dean Campbell; and one aunt, Shirley Miller.
Jeff leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Sidney M. and Margaret Florence McCain, Broken Bow; one son, Sidney Allen McCain, Okmulgee, OK; one daughter, Samantha Jo McCain, Broken Bow; two sisters, Jackie Lynn Suggs, Broken Bow, and Florence Lynn Hutto, Broken Bow; two aunts, Jimmie Gail Richards, and Patsy McGowen; one uncle, Roy Lee Campbell; one niece, Jessie Lee Moore; two nephews, Billy Joe Suggs, and Dakota James Suggs; and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Broken Bow Cemetery. Bro. Cletus Hawkins will officiate.

Dell Fulfer, 1932 - 2006
Dell Fulfer, 73, of Haworth, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Tulsa. She was born July 5, 1932 in Bokhoma, the daughter of Willie and Ora Cupps Fulfer.
Dell was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Annie Perkins.
Dell is survived by her brothers, Jim H. Fulfer of New Boston, Texas, and Earnest Fulfer of Tom; her sisters, Ruby Thurman, Nancy Wilkerson, and Carrie Jane Spillman all of Broken Bow, Willie Mae Hearing and Dortha Fulfer both of Haworth; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Services will be on Tuesday, May 30, at 2:00 p.m. at the Conley-White Funeral Chapel in Idabel. Interment will follow in the Bokhoma Cemetery.

Robert Wright, 1941 - 2006
Robert Wright, 64, of Haworth passed away Saturday May 27, 2006 at his home. He was born August 12, 1941 at Bokhoma, OK to Bob and Odessa Wright. Robert proudly served our country in the United States Army. He loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Bob Wright and brother-in-law, Leo Cox.
He is survived by his mother, Odessa Wright, 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Shantae and Jeff Johnson, and Renata Wright, a sister, Mary Cox, 3 grandchildren, Katina Wright; Jessie Johnson and Nakia Cantu, all of Haworth. He also leaves behind a very special friend, Eddie Sullivan and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled with the family at Norwood Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Services will be 2:00 Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Norwood Chapel with Brother Jack Brown officiating. Services will conclude at the chapel. Interment will be at Haworth Cemetery.

Lois Cooper, 1919 - 2006
Lois “Mrs. Christie” Cooper, 86, of Broken Bow, passed away May 25, 2006 at her residence. She was born June 3, 1919, in Detroit, TX the daughter of Jasper and Millie (Spencer) McKay.
Lois was a homemaker who enjoyed flowers, quilting, sewing, and especially loved her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Broken Bow Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Millie McKay; husband, John Christie; son, Eddie Christie; infant daughter, Martha Jean Christie; and three grandchildren.
Lois leaves to cherish her memory her children, Barbara Rowan, Broken Bow, C.J. and Ann Christie, Broken Bow, and Ricky and Gwen Christie, Herndon Community; sister Jessie Scaggs, Truth or Consequences, NM; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow. Bro. Aaron Strange and Dan Fredman will officiate. Interment will be at Valliant Cemetery, Valliant, OK.

Rodney Webb, 1954 - 2006
Rodney Webb, 51, of Idabel, passed away Sunday May 21, 2006 at his home. He was born November 14, 1954 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, the son of Willie Faye Davis and Billy Joe Webb. He had lived most of his life in Tom, OK. Rodney loved to hunt and fish. He was also a coin collector.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Webb, 1 brother, Joe Alan Webb, grandmother, Nellie Anderson, and 3 uncles Ed Davis, Lewis Albert Davis and Henry Loui Davis.
He is survived by his mother, Willie Faye Davis Hardaway of Idabel, 3 aunts, Wanda Ruth Kegley, Sharon Stephens, Sandra Beck, and many cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Carl Sherman, 1919 - 2006
Carl Sherman, age 86, longtime Idabel businessman and philanthropist passed away at his residence in Idabel on Friday, May 19, 2006. He was born in Hugo on December 2, 1919.
He was the Hugo High School valedictorian in 1936. He attended the University of Oklahoma. He graduated in 1941 and was preparing to enter Harvard Law School when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. He changed his plans.
Sherman served more than four years in the U.S. Navy. He was commissioned an ensign in 1942, through officer candidate school, and was discharged in 1946 after attaining the rank of LT (0-3).
After discharge from the Navy, he spent several months with his family, who operated a dry goods store for many years in Hugo.
Preston Colvins enticed Sherman to move to Idabel later in 1946 and helped him finance the purchase of a dry goods store located in the two-story building on the south side of S & H Department Store by the alley (last operated by Donna Hill as “Donna’s Dress Shop”)
At one time, Sherman owned six shoe stores in Dallas, Denton, and Denison, Texas, as well as Oklahoma City.
Along with partners he helped start South Park Shopping Center in Broken Bow, the former site of a Dierks Saw Mill.
His longtime partner Larry Oster still operates the Oklahoma City Store.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Bertha Sherman; a brother Abe Sherman; a sister Anna Maye Sherman; and special friend and the love of his life, Martha Ann Johnson.
Carl Sherman is survived by his adopted daughter and her husband, Julie and Dale Fisher of Idabel; adopted grandchildren and spouses, Ryan and Sarah Coleman of Van Alstyne, Texas, Reagan and Kyle Morris of Plano, Texas, and Lacey Coleman of Idabel; adopted great-grandchildren, Blake Morris and Rilyn Coleman; special friends, Wesley and Paula Cantrell of Paris, Texas, and Rex Chandler of Idabel; a special caregiver, Jeanette Hightower of Idabel; many other friends and business associates.
Services will be Monday, May 22, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Conley-White Chapel in Idabel. Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery with Rex Chandler and Wesley Cantrell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at the funeral home.

Euba Fennel, 1920 - 2006
Euba “Heavy” Fennel, 85, of Wright City, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2006 at Paris, Texas. He was born June 28, 1920 in Ringold the son of Jim and Effie Eubanks Fennel.
Euba worked for 27 years in the reworking plant for Weyerhaeuser, and retired in 1982. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his great-grandchildren. Euba was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Wright City and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Lois Fennel in October of 1992; brothers, Otis Fennel and Ray Fennel; and a sister, Daffney Foster.
Euba Fennel is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lucelle and Rogers Gary of Wright City; a brother, Coy Fennell of Ft. Worth, Texas; granddaughters, Rogena Whisenhunt of Wright City, and Dana Smith of Detroit, Texas; 5 great-grandchildren, Kyle Skelton, Jesse Whisenhunt, Denea Whisenhunt, Kara Smith, and Taneesha Smith; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Services will be on Tuesday, May 16, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Church in Wright City with Pastor Luther Battiest officiating. Interment will follow in the Ringold Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2006 at the funeral home.

Lorene Weeks Harris, 1915 - 2006
Lorene Weeks Harris, 90, departed this life on May 10, 2006 at Broken Bow, Oklahoma. She was born December 18, 1915 in Spring Hill, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Weeks, pioneer settlers in Bowie County, Texas; her husband, Elmer Harris, the love of her life; four brothers: Curtis, Howard, John and L.C. Weeks; three sisters: Hester Smith, Vester Spinks and Bevie Wheeler Vaughn.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory one son, Max Harris and wife Austine of Texarkana, Texas; four daughters: Sarah Pradarits and husband Richard of Mesquite, Texas; Galaine Lane and husband Sid of the Pollard Community; Carolyn Grigory and husband Grady; Rita Biggs and husband Johnny all of Broken Bow.
Eleven grandchildren: Rick Pradarits and wife Elisa of Duncanville, Texas; Mark Harris of Denton, Texas; Susan Friday and husband Joey of Texarkana, Texas; Tammy Sartor and husband Lynn of Katy, Texas; Karen Lindsey and husband William of Texarkana, Texas; Donna Parr and husband Doug of Queen City, Texas; Resse Biggs and wife Tammy of Mesquite, Texas; Gina Roblow and husband Steve of Dallas, Texas; Kevin Biggs of Broken Bow; Clay Pradarits and wife Lisa of Quinlin, Texas; and Scott Grigory of Mobile, Alabama.
Eighteen great-grandchildren: Zane, Reiley, Logan, Amanda, Emily, Joshua, Micah, Morgan, Austin, Tyler, Trevor, Tristen, Colton, Trent, Justin, Stephen, Emma, and Alyssa.
Two sisters: Velma Bolt of Haworth and Ottalene Randolph of Dekalb, Texas.
Six sisters-in-law: Alta Weeks of Caddo Mills, Texas; Mary John Weeks and Barbara Weeks of Texarkana, Texas; Fay Weeks, Dorothy Harris and Juanita Harris of Idabel.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends and was their very special “Aunt Lorene.”
She instilled in her family honesty, integrity, and kindness. She instilled these qualities because she lived them. A gifted homemaker, she loved cooking for her family and friends, sewing for her children and grandchildren, playing the piano, teaching her Sunday school class, and tending her lawn.
Her love for her children extended to her daughter-in-law and sons-in-law and their entire families, and, really, for all mankind. She was the epitome of kindness. She loved her Lord God above anything else and also her neighbor as herself.
Courageous, yet meek, she was dearly loved and revered by her family.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2006 with the Reverends Margo Vestal and Eugene Van Alstine officiating. Interment will be at the Harris Cemetery at Pleasant Hill.
Visitation is scheduled with the family Friday, May 12, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Norwood Funeral Home in Idabel.

Jo Ann Williams-Dalby, 1946 - 2006
Jo Ann Williams-Dalby was born December 31, 1946 and went home to be with the Lord, and her Mom, May 8, 2006.
She worked for the V. A. for over 35 years, was very involved with the United Methodist Women, and was very active in her church. She was an avid sports fan and participant, encouraging her family in their activities. Her grandchildren were very important to her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Williams; maternal grandparents, Dan and Sillis (Bohanon) Vandiver; and paternal grandparents, Harvey T. Williams and Fannie Wesley.
Jo Ann leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Sherman Dalby; son Kevin Williams and wife Nikole; daughter Yvetta Morales and husband Joey; sisters and brothers-in-law Wanda and R.J. Frazier, Pat and Rev. Mel Gaines, and June Williams; four grandchildren and many other loving family members.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 12, 2006, at Mountain Fork Presbyterian Church, Eagletown. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery, Eagletown. A wake service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow.

Judy Watson, 61, of Haworth, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2006 in Idabel. She was born October 7, 1944 in Haworth, the daughter of Glen and Lois Whitaker Pond.
Judy was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, gardening and building things.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Charlie Pond.
Judy is survived by her husband, Thane Watson of Haworth; daughter, Janet Hodge of Oregon; brothers, Gary Pond of Foreman, Arkansas, James Emory Friend of the Union Grove Community, and James Henry Friend Jr. of Mt. Elesta Faye Owens, 46, of Broken Bow, passed away May 7, 2006 at Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, TX. She was born March 29, 1960 in DeQueen, AR to Simon and Mable (Wimbley) Owens.
Elesta was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church, Eagletown. She enjoyed playing dominoes, cards, and listening to music. Elesta loved spending time with her family and friends and especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Mable Owens; two brothers, Clyde Owens, and Tommie Owens; one sister, Shirley Owens; grandfather, Fred Wimbley; one aunt, Virginia Clayton; three uncles, T. (Doc) Wimbley, Willie Burris, and Alonzo Owens.

Jeffrey Warren Warrick, 1962 - 2006
Jeffrey Warren Warrick, 43, of Edmond, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2006 in Juarez, Mexico. He was born October 16, 1962 in Edmond, OK to John Walter Warrick and Barbara Jean Haley.
Jeff proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He was a truck driver at the time of his death.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father J.W. Warrick.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Haley White of Idabel, a son, Jacob Warren Warrick of Edmond, OK, 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerrel W. and Hoa Warrick of Oklahoma City, OK and Johnny W. and Brenda Warrick of Noble, OK, 2 nieces, Lindsay and Thien Warrick, 1 nephew, Johnny Ray and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 May 9, 2006 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Idabel, OK with Brother Mickey Haley presiding.

James T. Williston, 1927 - 2006
James T. Williston, 79, of Idabel, passed Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Wadley Regional Medical Center, Texarkana, TX. He was born March 5, 1927 at Idabel, the son of Tobias and Rosa Williston.
James was on the Idabel Police Force, a veteran of the U.S. Army, Navy and a member of the United Methodist Church of Redland. He loved his church and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and singing and was a lifetime resident of the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tobias and Rosa Williston; three brothers, William, Silas Paul and John; four sons, Jerry Lyn, Jimmy Dale, Robert and an infant son and one daughter, Evelyn Say.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mary Williston of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Morris and Ranee Williston of Millerton, James Jr. and Monique Williston of Hooks, Tx. and David Williston and fiancée Denise of Idabel; five daughters and sons-in-law, Betty J. and Bob Maye of Idabel, Marylin and Kyle Campbell of Claremore, Sharon and William Young of Haworth, Gloria Grant and James of Idabel and Kathy and Vince Shomo of Calera; four brothers, Ben Williston, Leroy Williston, Angus Williston and Kenneth Williston all of Idabel; six sisters, Alline Johnson, Effieleene Harley, Virginia Franklin, Stella Williston and Martha Williston all of Idabel and Esterleene Anderson of Broken Bow; twenty three grandchildren, Maura, Shalisa, Lindsey, Erica, Matthew, Shane, Tamera, Shannon, Brandon, Robyn, Mandy, Kasey, Wendy, Justin, Lilli, Chris, Bradley, Adrian, Megan, Cole, Marsha, Melissa and Robert; sixteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

George Holman, 1921 - 2006
George Holman, 85, of Idabel, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at his residence. He was born on March 29, 1921 in Idabel to George Lawrence Sr. and Lela Mae Thompson Holman. He married Ruth Spickard in Arkadelphia, Arkansas on February 28, 1942.
George was a retired butcher having worked for Piggly Wiggly for several years. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Oklahoma National Guard. Glen was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bob Holman and Mayo Holman.

Virginia Rae Black, 1937 - 2006
Virginia Rae Black, 68, Idabel, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at Texarkana, Texas. She was born May 7, 1937, at Altus, OK. the daughter of Grady and Dotha Black.
Virginia graduated from Idabel High School in 1955 and Southeastern Oklahoma State College in 1959 with a B.S. in Education. She taught school in Hobbs, New Mexico and Valliant, OK until her retirement. She was a member of South Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, an avid race fan, enjoyed Lee Greenwood concerts and loved her miniature toy poodle Chrissy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Dotha Black and one brother, Bob Black.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Randall Ray Black and wife Lea Ann, Idabel; sister, Deborah Bell and husband Doug, Farmersville, TX.; seven grandchildren, Chase Michael Black, Matthew Payton Black, Daryl Dene Black, James Camden Martin, Marielle Blaine Martin, Evan Christopher Martin and Chelsea Nicole Green.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel, Idabel. Interment will follow in Denison Cemetery.

Delmer May, 1929 - 2006
Delmer May, 76, of Broken Bow passed away Monday, May 1, 2006 at his residence. He was born August 5, 1929 to Eddie and Erma Harris May at Negley, Texas. He married Patsy A. Emerson on September 24, 1950 at Dequeen, Arkansas.
Delmer worked in the aircraft industry as a tool and die maker. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing. He was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County and a 1948 graduate of Broken Bow High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 55 years, Patsy of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Karen May of Show Lo, Arizona; a granddaughter, Brooke Paige May of Atlanta, Georgia; a special cousin, Bernice Bailey; sister-in-law, Margie Emerson and family; and a host of friends.

David Wayne Ashalintubbi, 1950 - 2006
David Wayne Ashalintubbi, 56, of Idabel, Oklahoma was called home to his heavenly father on April 29, 2006. David was an 8 year veteran of the United States Army and served proudly in the Vietnam Conflict. He was lifetime resident of McCurtain County who was a friend to anyone and an enemy of no one.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Aline James; step-mother, Sue Ashalintubbi; step-father, Henry James; and 2 sisters, Verloyn and Candice Ashalintubbi.
David is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Brenda Worley Ashalintubbi of the home; 2 sons, DeLano Ashalintubbi of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Matt Ashalintubbi of Hampton; Va.; 2 daughters, D’Anna Ashalintubbi of Forney, Texas and Diedra Ashalintubbi of Wilburton, Oklahoma; 3 brothers, Dennis Ashalintubbi of Eagletown, Ferris Ashalintubbi of Honobia, and Marty James of Talihina, Oklahoma; 4 sisters, Denise Johnson of Heavener, Oklahoma, Hannah Williams of Del City, Oklahoma, Pauline Ashalintubbi of Clarksville, Arkansas and Minnie Ashalintubbi of Clarksville, Arkansas; his father, Marland Ashalintubbi of Eagletown; 1 aunt, Mildred Ashalintubbi of Eagletown; 1 uncle, Raymond Johnson of Honobia; 12 grandchildren , Kimberly, Jordan, Emily, Keagan, Brendan, Elyce, Shailynd, Shelbie, Shanan, Sheridan, Kalyn, and Tessa; many other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.at Panki Bok Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Paul Williams and Rev. Randy Jacob officiating. Interment will follow in Panki Bok Cemetery.

Randy McCutcheon, 1960 - 2006
Randy “Crutch” McCutcheon, 45, of Idabel, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Haworth. He was born August 4, 1960 in Idabel.
Randy was a construction worker and mechanic. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Randy loved spending time with his daughter, nieces, and nephews. He was affiliated with the Assemblies of God and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jim Mathews; and uncle, Rex Mathews; and aunts, Oleta Boaldin and Linda Walker.
Randy is survived by his mother, Melva McCutcheon of Idabel; his maternal grandmother, Alene Mathews of Idabel; a daughter, Natalie Wade of Calera, Oklahoma; brothers, Mike McCutcheon of Hugo, and Jeff McCutcheon of Idabel; a sister, Sherry Parmer of Idabel; nephews, Andy McCutcheon, Kyle McCutcheon, and Shane Powers; nieces, Rayanne Bryant, Serena McCutcheon, and Janet McCutcheon; a special great-nephew, Elijah Powers; many other relatives, and a host of friends.
Graveside Services were held Monday, May 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Redland Cemetery with Aubrey Thompson and Norman Grant officiating.

Glen M. Robberson, 1931 - 2006
Glen M. “Cotton” Robberson went to meet the Lord on Sunday morning, April 30, 2006. He was born on June 4, 1931 in Idabel to John Thomas and Ida Robberson.
Glen retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service and returned to Oklahoma. He loved law enforcement and worked at the McCurtain County Sheriff’s office under several Sheriff’s, the Idabel Police Department, served as Chief of Police in Valliant, and was a Captain for the Hugo police Department when he retired in July of 1992. Glen then worked security at Weyerhaeuser until his illness. After his children were grown, Glen earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Carl Albert State College. He was a member of the Idabel Masonic Lodge. Glen enjoyed dominoes and taught most of the grandkids to play. Glen loved his cows and dogs. He loved his family and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Glen always had a cup of coffee and a smile for you.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, J.T., Bill, Roy, and Wilburn Robberson; sisters, Lois Davis, and Mayetta Mayabb.
Glen leaves his wife of 54 years, Joyce Jamison Robberson; sons and daughters-in-law, Glen Dale Robberson of Garvin, Jimmy and Lorraine Robberson of Jemison, Alabama, Phillip and Chris Robberson of Valliant, and Dennis and Karen Robberson of Valliant; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Hank Vandever of Rufe; grandchildren, Kristy Stancil, Tracy Stancil, Eric Vandever, Kasie Robberson, Jeremy and Michelle Robberson, Kerri Robberson, James Robberson, Josh Robberson, Breeanna Robberson, Stormy Robberson, Morgan Robberson, Matthew Robberson, Kali Robberson, and Kellen Robberson; great-grandchildren, Raylee Stancil, and Tre` Robberson; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Services will be Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Conley-White Chapel in Idabel with Dick Logan officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the funeral home.

Charles Eugene Booth, 1931 - 2006
Charles “Charlie” Eugene Booth, 74, of Hugo, OK, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Hugo, Oklahoma. He was born November 16, 1931 in Deport, Texas the son of Tom Elvis and Emma (Matlock) Booth and had lived in the Hugo community for over 55 years.
Charlie loved his family and horses. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for the City Of Hugo, a member of the New Life Center Church and liked to go to church. He also liked to camp and tell stories. He was a very common man who enjoyed life to its fullest.
His wife Janie Booth preceded him in death June 19, 1984. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters; Polly Franklin and Mickie Wyrick and 1 brother; Tommy “Buck” Booth.
He is survived by 2 sons; Donny Booth of Millerton, OK, and Randy Booth of Hugo, OK 1 daughter; Sarah Jenkins of Campbell, TX, 3 brothers; Bill Booth of Arthur City, TX, Tony Booth of Hugo, OK, and Larry Booth of Hugo, OK, 2 sisters; Bobbie Jo Taylor of Dallas, TX and Pat Bennett of Hugo, OK 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren along with a host of relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday May 2, 2006 at Springs Chapel Cemetery – Hugo, OK with Bro. Jesse Babcock officiating and Veteran funeral honors conducted by the Southeast Oklahoma Veterans Honor Guard.

Thomas “T.J.” Masters, 1949 - 2006
Thomas “T.J.” Masters, 56, of Glover, passed away April 29, 2006 at Paris Regional Medical Center, Paris, TX. T.J. was born August 28, 1949 in Ringold, OK the son of Earl and Wilma Masters.
T.J. loved preaching and going to church. He was affiliated with the Springs of Light Church and Glover Assembly of God. T.J. also enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and loved spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilma and Earl Masters; two brothers, Wayne and Phillip Masters.
T.J. leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Minnie Masters of the home; three sons, Johnathan Masters, Frank and Larry Gray all of Glover; two daughters, Shelly Gray, Glover; and Shelby Masters, Henryetta; three brothers and two sisters-in-law Eddie and Jackie Masters, Glover, Kenneth “Lee” and Neva Masters and Eric Masters all of Holly Creek, one sister; Kathy Masters, Glover; one granddaughter, Amber Renea Swadley, Glover; several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special cousin Joyce Masters.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2006, at Springs of Light Church in Glover, OK. Interment will follow at Ringold Cemetery. Bro. Forrest Gibbs and Bro. Don Batchelor will officiate.

Malachi Choate, Infant, born April 27, 2006 passed away April 27, 2006 at the O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Malichi is survived by his parents Lance Choate and Kelli Battiest both of the Home; maternal great-grandmother, Marilyn Jefferson, Bethel; maternal grandparents, Martha and Carlton Battiest, Broken Bow; Paternal Grandparents, Floyd and Kaye Choate, Pickens; one brother, Eric Battiest; two sisters Kimmi and Alexia Battiest all of the Home; three aunts and three uncles, Camillia, Destiny, Keith Little Eagle, Anthony, Johnny, and Pamela.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 1, 2006, at Abundant Life Church in Pickens, OK. Interment will follow at Noah Family Cemetery.
