Oklahoma Edge is in print and online
Not only can your business appear in the printed edition of Oklahoma Edge, but you can take advantage of the vast number of people reading it online. We offer print ads, which are linked to your website in the online edition, and we offer internet advertising in the form of banner ads on the pages of our site and in our monthly email.
Print Distribution
We only place Oklahoma Edge printed copies in the most visible shelf space of the most frequented places. 5,000 copies are distributed in McCurtain County, with another 5,000 distributed over LeFlore, Choctaw, Pushmataha, Bryan, and Atoka counties in Oklahoma; Visitors from neighboring counties and states pick it up while they are here as well. (click the map to enlarge). This is beneficial to businesses seeking to reach local consumers as well as tourists and other visitors to the area.
To advertise in the printed magazine, which is also distributed in it's entirety with ads linked to the advertiser's website, contact us at 580-212-7224 or send us an email by going to our "contact us" page.
Internet Distribution
We have implemented a free online subscription engine (like an emailed newsletter) to capture the massive audience of online readers who want our quality content. Our readers sign up for the free subscription and automatically receive it each month. These internet savvy individuals are not as likely to print our pages on their inkjet, but they read it on their screen, visit other parts of our website, forward the magazine to their friends and relatives, and most importantly: they see and click on our internet advertisers' ads and visit their websites.
This website is designed to be easily found by web searches seeking anything about Southeastern Oklahoma. It is perused by over 400 persons daily (September 2008 avg=585 pages/day served to 200+ unique site visitors/day or 8,000 per month) and that number is growing all the time.
Tourism-oriented businesses will benefit from our high traffic due solely to our promotion efforts in the printed magazine and viral marketing. Tourists picked up a copy this season, entered our photo contest, got a free online subscription, and will be planning their next visit every time they open our monthly email.
